This co-branded smartwatch forms an interesting contrast with the Apple Watch Nike+. The Fitbit Ionic: Adidas Edition is the first result of a collaboration that both companies announced last year. ![]() The fitness wearables company has now announced a new version of the Ionic smartwatch in collaboration with one of the largest sports brands in the world, Adidas. The watch runs on Fitbit OS and has 2.5 GB of usable storage for apps and music. Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS are also supported. The wearable features a digital Fitbit Coach, water resistance up to 50 meters deep as well as a heart rate sensor. The Fitbit Ionic smartwatch was introduced in August of last year and made its way to the market a couple of months later.
